Moderated by Nico Wägerle, with Katrin Brosza-Meier (Aumovio), Haris Uzunovic (BMW), Mayukh Acharya (TÜV Rheinland) and Dr. Saahil Ognawala (Certivity).

Fireside Chat: Can We Trust AI? – The Borderline Between Automation, Risk and Human Accountability

AI is increasingly taking over tasks that previously relied on expert judgment – from analyzing regulations and assessing risks to recommending concrete actions. But how far can we go? When is an AI result reliable enough to act upon, and when is human validation still essential?

Together, we will discuss the emerging risk-based approach to AI, the realities of hallucinations and incorrect outputs, and the question of accountability when AI gets it wrong. Where should organizations draw the line between fully automated decisions, human oversight and expert validation – and will “the AI said so” ever be enough?

A fireside discussion about trust, responsibility and the future role of human expertise in an AI-driven compliance world.
