Event Insights: "How do we build for the AI-first era?"

On June 1st, our Munich office filled up with founders, builders, and operators, all gathered around one question: how do you actually build in the AI-first era, and how do you stay ahead when the ground shifts every few weeks? 

Anthropic and UVC Partners organized the Event and we had the pleasure of hosting the evening at our office in Munich.  
 
Here are a few key-takeaways that stuck with us. 

Stephan von Perger, Head of EMEA Startup Partnerships at Anthropic, showed how to get real leverage out of Claude across chat, Co-work and Claude Code. His point landed: the magic isn't just better prompts, it's building reusable skills. You teach Claude a workflow once, and it reuses that expertise every time, so a team's knowledge compounds instead of getting re-typed into a prompt box. He also showed where Claude Code is heading: subagents tackling tasks in parallel, plugging straight into your real stack through MCP, and running from the desktop and mobile apps, not just the terminal. Add Routines, agents, and Claude working right inside your browser, and the daily workflow starts to look very different. 

Oliver Schoppe, General Partner at UVC Partners, reframed the evening around what matters most for operators: productivity, and how teams stay competitive in a world that refuses to slow down. 

Saahil Ognawala, our Head of AI and ML at Certivity, brought the builder's perspective from inside the company. Claude runs on both sides of our work: Claude Code in how we develop the platform, and Claude in the compliance agents our customers use directly. From the engineering room to the product, it is one continuous thread rather than a bolt-on.

After the presentations, we broke into smaller groups, which opened up the kind of honest conversation a large room rarely allows. What is actually working. What is not. The best practices people are quietly figuring out but not yet talking about publicly. The networking that followed just kept those conversations going.
